Terms and Conditions of Use
Effective date: October 19, 2026
By using this website (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site provides general information about Healing Expeditions, LLC and Pamela Mangus, LPC, and a way to request a consultation. Using the Site, reading its content, or sending a message does not create a counselor–client relationship. That relationship begins only after an intake, signed informed consent, and mutual agreement to work together.
2. Who We Can Serve
Counseling services are offered by telehealth only to clients who are physically located in Virginia or Florida at the time of each session. Pamela Mangus is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia and holds a Florida out-of-state telehealth provider registration; she does not hold a full Florida license. If you will be traveling or living in another state, please tell us before your session so we can discuss options.
3. Scheduling, Fees, and Payment
-
Current fees, accepted payment methods, and insurance options are listed on our Fees page. Some clients may be seen through Headway, whose terms also apply to those services.
-
Good Faith Estimate: if you are uninsured or not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges under the federal No Surprises Act. Please ask before your first session.
-
Cancellations: if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible. Full policies appear in your intake paperwork.
4. Communications
Email, text, and website forms are for scheduling and administrative matters only. They are not monitored around the clock and are not for emergencies. Sessions take place on a HIPAA-compliant video platform.
5. Intellectual Property
All Site content, including text, graphics, worksheets, videos, and logos, belongs to Healing Expeditions, LLC or its licensors. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, or sell it without written permission.
6. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to other websites, including Headway, YouTube, and resource pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to access it without authorization, or submit content that is unlawful, harassing, or harmful.
8. No Warranties; Limitation of Liability
The Site and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Practice is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits obligations owed to clients under professional standards or applicable law.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not reduce any rights a Florida resident has under Florida law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version with a new effective date.

Virginia licenses can be verified through the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
No Guaranteed Results
Every person's healing is different. We cannot promise specific outcomes or timelines from counseling, EMDR, or any other approach.
Counseling Only; Coaching Is a Separate Company
Healing Expeditions, LLC provides licensed counseling only. Coaching is offered by a separate company, Healing Expeditions Coaching, LLC, and is not available through this Site. Coaching is not therapy, is not provided under a counseling license, and does not include diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.
Faith-Integrated Counseling
For clients who request it, faith may be integrated into counseling in a way that respects each client's beliefs and pace. Faith integration is always client-led and optional; clients of any belief, or none, are welcome.
Testimonials
We do not post client testimonials to protect client confidentiality and the counseling relationship.
